DAY 1 LOS SUENOS TO QUEPOS

Board your Costa Rica yacht charter at Marina Los Suenos on the picturesque Bahia Herradura on the central Pacific Coast. A short morning cruise brings you to anchor at Playa Jaco, known for its welcoming locals, fun nightlife, and volcanic sand beaches. An eco-friendly town, it sits on the edge of multiple Costa Rican national parts. Take an afternoon cruise to the Punta Quepos, a tropical peninsula with a small booming harbour town famous for big game sportfishing. It is also the gateway to Parque Nacional Manuel Antonio, a must-visit during a private yacht charter in Costa Rica.

DAY 2 BAHIA DRAKE

Steer a path to Bahia Drake during a Costa Rica yacht charter and immerse yourself in Mother Nature. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Bahia Drake is one of the most biodiverse destinations on the planet. The remote Bahia offers stunning views, secluded beaches and access to the Parque Nacional Corcovado, which is full of exotic wildlife. The Parque has more than 23 miles of beaches, rain forests, swamps, and mangoes, all awaiting exploration during your private yacht charter. The Parque also includes an exceptional variety of native fauna, including more than 400 species of birds.

DAY 3 ISLA DEL CANO

Discover picture-perfect waters for swimming, snorkelling, kayaking, and paddleboarding during your yacht rental in Costa Rica at this national preserve. The oceanic conditions make this area one of the best places to find rare dolphin mega pods. Alternatively, enjoy a hike in the Cano Island Biological Reserves before returning to your private yacht and enjoying an expertly prepared meal by your professional chef.

DAY 4 ISLA TORTUGA

Isla Tortuga has the most scenic anchorages on the central Pacific coast of Costa Rica. During your yacht charter in Costa Rica, enjoy the services of your own personal naturalist guide, who will take you on a leisurely hike of the Isla’s primeval forest, observing its abundant wildlife. Visit the private Refugio Nacional Curu onboard your private yacht’s tender and enjoy encounters with birds, monkeys, and coatis. Early morning or late afternoons offer the best chance of wildlife sightings.

DAY 5 PLAYA GARZA

Drop anchor at the remote beach and quaint fishing village of Playa Garza during your Costa Rica yacht charter and spend the day relaxing on the beach or enjoying all your yacht’s tenders and toys on the azure blue waters of this bay. Close by is the Refugio de Vida Silvestre Ostional, created in 1992 to protect the arribada sea turtles and their nesting grounds. The popular surf town of Playa de Nosara has many restaurants, perfect for a night of casual dining ashore.

DAY 6 PLAYA CONCHAL

Playa Conchal and the neighbouring Playa Zapotal offer peaceful anchorings and nearby activities to enjoy during your yacht charter in Costa Rica. Tucked into a cove, the water here is calm and perfect for swimming, snorkelling, or making use of your private yacht’s tenders and toys. The surrounding area is picturesque, with offshore islands and craggy cliffs to the south.

DAY 7 PLAYAS DEL COCO

Coco is the largest village in Provincia de Guanacaste and offers guests a wide range of activities. Spend the day enjoying the beautiful beach, head off on an adventure through the lush rainforests, or sink beneath the waves and explore the underwater world of the nearby reefs. In addition, the colourful town provides plenty of shopping opportunities in markets, boutiques, and casinos. Whatever activity you wish to enjoy at Playas Del Coco, your private yacht’s dedicated crew will ensure all arrangements are made for a spectacular day.

DAY 8 PENINSULA DE PAPAGAYO

The Bahia Huevos and Bahia Culebra border both sides of the Peninsula. Lined with lush green forests, white-sand beaches, and small islands, it’s the perfect anchorage for a secluded picnic or beach BBQ during a Costa Rica yacht charter. Drop anchor near the Isla Huevos and listen to the calls of native howler monkeys and other wildlife. The large arch-shaped Bahia Culebra epitomizes the world-class beaches of north-western Guanacaste. Just beyond the scrub-covered highlands, rising from the warm Pacific Ocean, is the majestic Volcan Rincon de la Vieja.

DAY 9 PENINSULA DE PAPAGAYO

Enjoy the last morning of your yacht charter in Costa Rica in this stunningly rugged paradise. Marina Papagayo is only a few minutes cruise from your evening’s anchorage. After saying your farewells, depart the yacht in Marina Papagayo for the flight home from Aeropuerto Internacional Danie Oduber Quiros. The airport is in Liberia, which is a short car ride from the coast.
